Leaving your country of origin is certainly an exciting experience, even more if you are developing your career outside your borders. However, if it is the first time you are moving abroad for job, it also might be a stressful situation. A relocation process is not easy, but if you are conscious about what is going to happen, you will probably enjoy the journey.
First of all, some weeks before you leave your home, you need to process your visa. As you should know, this document is essential to stay and work legally in a foreign country. When your visa is ready, Staff Relocation Services (SRS) can take you on a tour in the city where you will be living in just before you start working. This is called the Familiarization Trip.
In this trip, one of our consultants will show you some residences according to your current lifestyle, so that you can have an idea of how the environment is going to be in your new country. Moreover, the consultant will take you to some areas of interest such as hospitals, shopping malls and sport clubs, in order to give you more information about the way you will be living there.
Before you arrive to foreign land, SRS starts the Home Finding process taking into consideration your opinions about the type of house and city area where you want to live in. If you are coming with your family, we can also give you Schooling Assistance so that your children can continue their studies in the best schools of the region.
If you or your family are not still clever at speaking the language of the foreign country, we can also train you so that you can enjoy daily life in a comfortable way. Furthermore, if your wife does not feel very confident about exploring the city alone, one of our consultants can give her some extra Spouse Assistance.
A relocation process may seem tiring, but it gets better if you have the proper help. Would you like to know more about our services? Please contact us.
