The Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Marcelo Ebrard, has announced that the United States will open the border for vaccinated people on November 8th, the condition is that travelers have their complete scheme. They will accept all the vaccines authorized by the Health World Organization, they are still analyzing if they will approve CanSino and Sputnik vaccines. International travelers that are completely vaccinated won’t need to be in quarantine once they arrive but will need to provide contact details.
On the other hand, the government announced that Mexico City will be in green light for 2 weeks. Due to this change, nightclubs, bars, discotheques, and social event rooms can operate at 50% of their capacity until 1:00 a.m. There won’t be any restrictions in outside events, but the use of face mask will be mandatory.

• Yellow light: Aguascalientes, Coahuila, Campeche, Colima, Guanajuato, Hi-dalgo, Jalisco, Michoacán, Morelos, Nayarit, Nuevo León, Puebla, Querétaro, San Luis Potosí, Sonora, State of México, Tabasco, Tamaulipas, Tlaxcala, Yuca-tán, and Veracruz
• Green light: Baja California Sur, Chihuahua, Chiapas, Durango, Guerrero, Me-xico City, Oaxaca Quintana Roo, Sinaloa, Zacatecas.
