The Civil Aeronautical Director (Francis Argueta), informed that flights will start operating on September 18^th, he added that the protocols have been defined together with Central America to have restrictions at the airport.  He announced that from now on, when a passenger arrives to the airport, it will not be allowed that family and friends accompany him, only the driver that is taking him to the airport.

Airport staff will take the temperature of each person who enters the airport, passengers must maintain social distance and use antibacterial gel.

After opening the airport in Guatemala, Costa Rica and El Salvador will follow them.

PCR test will be asked to people who arrive in Guatemala, in case the passenger does not have one, he can be in quarantine 14 days or have it at the airport^{. 4}
