The government informed that his week, the vaccination against the coronavirus of older adults continued, in the municipalities of Tláhuac, Iztacalco and Xochimilco.
On the other hand, the Head of Government in Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum, anonuced that the epidemiological traffic light will continue in orange for another week and asked private schools to be patient to resume face-to-face classes, after indicating that they are intended to reopen on March 1st.
The Administrative Verification Institute (Invea) will conduct tours of private schools to prevent the resumption of face-to-face classes, after several schools assured that they will reopen as of March 1st.
According with the epidemiological traffic light in the Mexican Republic, we have 2 states in red color, 23 states in orange, 8 states in yellow, and one in green traffic light.
- Red light: Guanajuato and Guerrero.
- Orange light: Mexico City, Estate of Mexico, Aguascalientes, Baja California Sur, Coahuila, Veracruz, Zacatecas, Guanajuato, Oaxaca, Tlaxcala, Quintana Roo, Yucatán, Morelos, Querétaro, Hidalgo, Jalisco, Puebla, Coahuila, Nuevo León, Jalisco, Nayarit, Colima and San Luis Potosi.
- Yellow light: Baja California, Sonora, Chihuahua, Tamaulipas, Sinaloa, Durango, Tabasco and Campeche
- Green light: Chiapas
