The Secretary of Public Education (Esteban Moctezuma), informed that the school term will start on August 24^th due COVID 19. ¹

“Classes will be in person when the light is green following all the sanitary protocols, meanwhile, virtual classes are not entertainment broadcasts and classes will have curricular value,” said Esteban Moctezuma.

This week, states in red light are: Baja California Sur, Coahuila, Colima, Durango, Hidalgo, Jalisco, Michoacán, Nayarit, Nuevo León, Puebla, San Luis Potosí, Tabasco, Tamaulipas, Veracruz, Yucatán and Zacatecas.

For those states in red, it should be considered:

• 25% of occupancy in hotels
• Food from restaurants and coffee shops only delivery service or take away.
• Beauty parlors and barber shops, only delivery service and with sanitary protocols.
• Parks, squares and open public spaces with a capacity of 25%.
• Markets and supermarkets with 50% of capacity and just one person per family.
• Establishments which remain closed: gyms, swimming pools, sports centers and spas shopping malls, cinemas, theaters, museums, cultural events and concerts; churches, temples, synagogues and mosques; amusement parks, spas, fairs, nightclubs and meeting rooms.

The states in orange traffic light will be: Aguascalientes, Baja California, Campeche, Chiapas, Chihuahua, Mexico City, State of Mexico, Guanajuato, Guerrero, Morelos, Oaxaca, Querétaro, Quintana Roo, Sinaloa, Sonora and Tlaxcala.

For those states in orange, it should be considered:

• Hotels, restaurants and coffee shops, beauty parlors, barbershops, gyms, swimming pools, sport centers and spas with previous appointment can operate at 50% of their capacity
• Markets and supermarkets can operate at 75% of capacity.
• Shopping malls, cinemas, theaters, museums, cultural events and concerts, and churches, temples, synagogues, and mosques can operate at 50% of their capacity
• Establishments that will remain closed are: Amusement parks, spas, fairs, nightclubs, and event halls.²
